Hershel laid there unconious for a while. Then, after hearing Shaun's voice with panic in it, he began to gently move and moan in pain. Finally, as Hershel tried to roll over and get up, but his body felt too heavy and so he just laid there. Finally, after opening his eyes, Hershel looked around before his eyes landed on a very nervous Shaun, who was now on the phone. 

"Shaun?" Hershel asked as he was looking around. He was trying to get up but his body wouldn't let him.  " Wha....Wha...What happened?" he asked still trying to get up but more he moved the worse the pain was in his arm. That made him cry out in pain to the point that there were actuall tears coming out of his eyes. That's when Hershel looked up and saw the way his left arm was and then looked over at his son with a confused and puzzled look on his face. 

The coffee was just about ready as Hershel was finishing up the dishes. Then he decided to do a little vaacuming upstairs, trying to stay away from Shaun's room while he sleeps. So, Hershel lugged the big, heavy vaaacum up the stairs, though he was breathing hard as he did so. Finally, after making it up the stairs, Hershel began to plug in the vaacum. 

Soon he was starting to vaacum as he wanted to get the area front of the door and the part of the hall that Shaun's room was  on. That way he could move on down the hall and Shaun could continue sleeping. Hershel stood up and no more got the vaacum on when he got really bad dizzy, which caused him to trip not only over his own feet but the vaacum cord, causing him to fall down the stairs, knocking him unconious and breaking his left arm. 

Hershel was sitting at the kitchen table finishing up his coffee and watching the news. Maggie had already gone to work and Beth was sleeping over at a friend's house, so Hershel decided to let Shaun have the day off and let him sleep. After finishin his coffee and turning off the TV just as the important part was coming on. Hershel then got up and began to clean the house, starting with the dishes and working his way around the house. He decided to turn on some soft music as he began working and while Shaun stayed asleep.
