Hershel winced every now and then as he gently moved his arm, along with Shaun's help until Hershel's arm was in the sling and resting comfortably against his chest. Hershal didn't say anything for a few minutes as he was catching his breath. Once he had his breathing under control, he looked up into Shaun's eyes with a smile on his face. "You know, you would make a great doctor someday son," he told Shaun with a smile on his face. Then Hershel winced a little more as he shifted himself against Shaun. Hershel coughed a little and then went on speaking to his son.

"You'll need my doctor bag to finish checking me out," he told Shaun. "You'll need to check out my heart and lungs, which you need to listen to very carefully so that there isn't anything wrong like a punctured lung or a punctured valve or something like that," he said. "I don't think you are quite ready to perform surgery just yet," Hershel said with a chuckle. Then he went on speaking. "So, you'll need to go get my doctor's bag because some of the tools you will need is in that bag," he added.

Ronda turned the moment that Shaun started speaking to her. He was cute and Ronda loved his eyes and his smile. Ronda listened to everything Shaun had to say. And when it was finally her turn to speak, she felt a warmth that she neverr felt before. And she kind of liked the feeling.

 

"Nice to meet you Shaun," she said with a huge grin on her face. "I'm Ronda and you're right, I'm not from around here," she told them as they stood there speaking as if they were old friends. "I'm here on vacation," she told him. "I just needed to get away from everything, you know what I mean?" she asked him as she then moved onto why she was there in the store.

"Anyway, what I'm looking for is basically snack foods and drinks that I can just lay on the hotel bed and eat while bing wathing tv," she told him. Ronda couldn't help but look around and noticecd how dead the store was. "For a grocery store, it seems awefully dead," she told Shaun as she changed the subject for the moment. "Is it always like this?" she asked wondering where all the people were. "Becasue I figure it would be busy," she added and then  moved on. 

There was a silence that fell between them and suddenly Ronda could feel butterflies in her stomach starting to flutter, which was unusal for her sincec she spent most of her life beating people up for a living. Ronda cleared her throat and begagn to speak again. "I could use a little gambling time," she told Shaun. "But only if you join me and let me buy you dinner after," she said with a smile on her face. 

When Shaun popped Hershel's shoulder back in place, not only did Hershele let out a scream but he bit down hard on the spoon, almost biting it in half. But once the job was done, Hershel, took his free hand and took the spoon out of his mouth, setting it aside and then going back to wipe away any tears that might have fell from his eyes during the proceedure. 

Once all of that was done, Hershel then began to speak to his son, though he sounded rather rough. "Thanks son, and you did an excellent job of putting my shoulder back in place," he told Shaun. "Now, help me set up so that you can get my arm in that sling you made," he told Shaun. "And once that's all done, you can work on checking the rest of me out for other injuries," he said. 

Ronda, who had decided to take some time off from working, decided she needed a gataway vacationg. So after looking at a map and all the major cities, Ronda decided to head to Atlanta, Georgia. She knew it would allow her to relax and she could do a little gambling while she was there, even though things has gotten a little weird throughout the world. It didn't bother her none, as long as she could get some peace and quiet so that she could relax. So, as Ronda was driving to Atlanta, she couldn't help but plan out her vacation and how she would spend each day. 

Finally, Ronda reached Atlanta and the hotel she had booked her room. Once she parked her car and checked herself in and got her room key, she went straight up to her room, flopped her things on one of the bed, and then flopped herself on the other bed. She laid there for a while before she realized that she still needed to go to town for a few supplies, so she let out a sigh and grabbbed her wallet and car keys and her hotel key and soon was back in her car, heading down the road for the store. 

Hershel let out a chuckle as he watched as he was tearin the sheet in half for the sling he would need. "You were sure cute helping though your mama didn't like it when I took you to work," he said chuckling mroe at the memories. "She was always so afraid that you would hurt yourself or even have nightmares," he added. "But you proved her wrong though," he said and then cleared his throat as he got ready to tell Shaun what he needed to do first. "Okay, now that you have your sling ready," Hershel started to tell Shaun.

"I want you to take the wooden spoon and place it in my mouth so that I will have something to bite down on," he added. "And once the spoon is secure between my teeth, you'r gonna twist my arm until you hear my shoulder pop back into place," Hershel finshed up.Then Hershel added just a few more words of encourragement.

"I know this is going to be dificult for you, but no matter how loud you hear me screaming to stop," he told his son. "Don't stop until you hear my shoulder pop back into place. It may take a minute or it might be longer, but evenutally you will hear it snap back into place. Once you hear that sound, you imeddiately get that sling on so that my arm won't move while it's healing," he told him.  

Hershel then took a long, deep breath as he looked up at his son. "I'm ready whenever you are," he told him. "I know you can do this," he said with a smile. "You were born to help people and right now your old dad needs your help the worst," he added and then waited for Shaun to put the spoon in his mouth and get started.
